For those of you who haven’t checked it out, last week StubHub’s Facebook page launched its timeline layout. Our team had a lot of fun reminiscing about StubHub’s history over the last decade, but we realized that there is something really important missing from the timeline: the memorable moments our fans experienced. So, we want all you to take part in our Time of your LIVE project and share a defining moment in music, football, baseball, hockey, etc. from the last decade that you got to experience live with your tickets from StubHub. Post your memory on our Facebook Timeline, and include a picture if you have one!
To get you inspired, I’ll kick today off with a memorable moment that’s very timely with the start of 2012’s MLB season, and tonight’s debut of the Marlins’ new stadium. Back in 2008 the Washington Nationals kicked off their season in brand new Nationals Park. What was shaping up to be a disappointing inaugural game ended in an exciting way with the Nationals’ Ryan Zimmerman hitting a walk-off home run to beat the Atlanta Braves 3-2. Now that’s a way to usher in a new season and a new ballpark!
