Last week we looked back to 2006 when the Saints had their first home game back in the patched together Superdome after Hurricane Katrina. It was an emotional homecoming and game as the team beat the Falcons. This inspired some of the most heartfelt memories we’ve received from fans, showing the hope sports teams can bring to their hometowns and the nation:

If you saw the movie Moneyball, you’ll be familiar with today’s milestone – back in 2002 the Oakland A’s were in the middle of a consecutive 19 game winning streak. I was there the night they went up against the Royals and blew an 11 run lead, only to come back in most dramatic by a walk off HR courtesy of Scott Hatteberg. The A’s preserved a 20 game winning streak and a place in baseball history. It was amazing to be there in person to experience it. Were any of you there?
Stay tuned as we continue to share more milestones over the next week.
